Specialist Support Staff (Non Medical Helpers)

What are Specialist Support Staff and what do they do?

Specialist Support Staff are also called Non Medical Helpers (NMH)

There are three main types of support staff:

  • Specialist Academic One to One Study Skills Tutors
  • Specialist Mentors and
  • Support Workers.

These specialist staff are available through the University of Worcester, or sometimes through external agencies and offer valuable support to disabled students.
