Booking Appointments

Many of the University's support services are available for 1-2-1 appointments.  Click on the headings below for more information. 

Academic Liaison Librarians are here to help you use library and information resources effectively and confidently.  They offer bookable appointments, both at the Hive and on campus.  For details of your librarian and how to book an appointment with them, please see the Library Services webpages

Careers & Employability work with students, graduates, employers and colleagues.  They support students in the planning and management of their careers and the development of their employability skills.  You can book an appointment on your myCareer portal. 

The Counselling and Mental Health Service offer free and confidential support sessions.  More information can be found on the Counselling and Mental Health webpage.  

In order to provide you with support that meets your individual needs, we ask you to book a STAR (Support Triage Advice Refer) appointment, so that you can tell us a bit about what the current issue is, and what support you are looking for.

These 30 minute STAR appointments are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4:30pm.  Email 
firstpoint@worc.ac.uk and include your availability and a contact telephone number.  Please write STAR in the email subject line.  

The Disability and Dyslexia Service supports students who have a disability, medical condition or Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) including dyslexia.

The Centre for Academic English and Skills offers support with improving your academic English and much more.  They offer appointments throughout the year and are located in the Jenny Lind building, City Campus.

The Money Advice Service offer appointments to students and potential students to give welfare and financial advice and support.  To book, please email firstpoint@worc.ac.uk giving your availability and a contact telephone number.

Individual Programme Advice regarding module and course changes, progression, timetable clashes or retakes & reassessments is available by telephone. You can find more information on their webpage.
