Teaching Technologies
Teaching space technology
Teaching spaces at the University of Worcester feature a variety of audio visual technologies, the majority of which are supported by the IT Service. The audio visual technologies on offer in each room typically fall into three main categories;
- Fixed AV equipment; Projector and screen usually linked to a lectern containing a PC, inputs for a laptop, DVD/Blu-Ray player and document camera. For more information, please get in touch or click here to access any relevant help guides.
- Mobile AV equipment; Large TV screen on a trolley with a PC and cabling for a laptop. Instructions should be located on or near the trolley, but should you require assistance please get in touch.
- Specialist AV equipment; Rooms may contain specialist AV equipment such as interactive whiteboards, collaborative or bring your own device technology. For more information, please get in touch.
Not sure what equipment is going to be in which room? Please get in touch, or speak to Timetabling.

The IT Service has a small supply of loan equipment that is subject to availability. In most cases we recommend booking out teaching spaces that already contain AV equipment. To book out equipment, please log a request on the IT self-service portal at least 3 days before equipment is needed. Available equipment includes projectors, mobile screens, webcams, Jabra speakerphones, laptops, PA system, conference phones and USB presenters (clickers). Please note that this equipment is for short term loan only and is subject to availability.
Larger teaching spaces usually feature a fixed microphone on the lectern. The following rooms have extra microphone facilities. To request a microphone, please log a request on the IT self-service portal.
