Students

We are requesting this information from you so that you can book careers appointments and events, search job vacancies placed with the University, obtain eGuidance, and complete the Worcester Award. We may also use information about you so that we can pass on to you opportunities which are relevant to your needs and to enable our services, and also for reporting purposes to evaluate our service. For the same purpose we may provide this information about you to those departments within the University that at are necessary to perform these purposes. The processing of this data is necessary for the University to perform our educational contract with students [Article 6(1)(b)]. Please note that the University of Worcester is the Data Controller and details of how we process your data including how long we retain it and your rights are detailed on the University’s Student Privacy Notice.

Graduates

We are requesting this information from you so that you can book careers appointments and events, search job vacancies placed with the University, and obtain eGuidance. We may also use information about you so that we can pass on to you opportunities which are relevant to your needs and to enable our services, and also for reporting purposes to evaluate our service. For the same purpose we may provide this information about you to those departments within the University that at are necessary to perform these purposes The processing of this data is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the University in providing careers support to graduates [Article 6 (1)(e)]. Please note that the University of Worcester is the Data Controller and details of how we process your data including how long we retain it and your rights are detailed on the University’s Student Privacy Notice.

Employers

We are requesting this information from you so your vacancies can be advertised to our students and graduates. We may also use this information to invite you to careers events, conferences and activities organised by the University, and for reporting purposes to evaluate our service. For the same purpose we may provide this information about you to colleagues within the University, such as academic staff, Communications & Participation and the Enterprise Unit. Please note that the University of Worcester is the Data Controller and details of how we process your data including how long we retain it and your rights are detailed on the University’s Visitor Privacy Notice. The processing of this data is dependent upon your explicit consent [Article 6(1)(a)].
