Internal surveys

Internal surveys are managed using Blue, which is available at https://worc.bluera.com/worc (University login required). Module leads, course leads and staff holding specific leadership and L&T/Quality roles within Schools will have access to this system.

Guidance on accessing and using Blue is available on SharePoint (University account required).

All surveys are anonymous, with quantitative and qualitative feedback being provided to identified staff throughout the year.  Internal surveys are run at selected points during the year and comprise the following:

Early Feedback Survey

This short survey asks students to feed back on how they are finding accessing learning activities and resources on their course, their introduction to their PAT, and whether they are aware of how to access support at the University.

The survey is run during October for two weeks and is open to all UG and PGT/PGCE students. Results are made available in early November.

End of module evaluations

These short surveys are designed to capture feedback on key aspects of the module including teaching and assessment. Module leads can select up to 4 additional questions from a bank per module.

Surveys are run at the end of each module, with dates being set by Schools.

Course Experience Survey (CES)

The CES is for all first and second year students, and those on one-year top-up degrees.  It comprises questions relating to the overall experience of the course, including teaching, assessment and feedback, organisation, personal development, and welfare resources.

The survey runs during February and March of each year, with results being made available in April.
