Finding Accommodation
The Accommodation Team can give advice and information on all practical matters with regards to living on or off campus.
The small and friendly team aims to help you enjoy your time at University by providing you with help on any queries you might have about your accommodation. You can visit the Accommodation Team and the Residential life team at the Accommodation Hub. Details of how to contact them can be found on the Accommodation Team webpage.
The University works closely with private landlords and Worcester City Council to ensure all student shared private residences are accredited and meet with current legislation. Sometimes you may have issues with your landlord or might have concerns about your accommodation. The Academic and Welfare Adviser at the Students’ Union can offer you help and advice on private contracts.
We have a variety of resources to help you find the perfect accommodation. The Housing Fair, hosted by the Accommodation Team and the Students’ Union takes place in the Hangar in January each year. You can meet accredited landlords, potential housemates and get general advice on house hunting. Find out more on the SU’s facebook page and the SU’s housing webpage.
You can also use our StudentPad website to search for properties online, post and send messages to other students also looking for housing. Studentpad goes live late January; it’s the University and SU official property search website. Sign up for an account using the password that you can collect at the Housing fair or from firstpoint.
