Registration

Registration confirms that you are an official member of the University and that you will be studying on your course.

You must be registered before you can receive any bursary or loan. You will need to register whether you are part-time, full time or studying at a partner institution.

It is important to make sure you have fully registered and officially joined your course in each academic year.

As a new student, once your place is confirmed you’ll receive an email with your login details about a month before the course is due to start. Continuing students will need to re-register via their SOLE page.

For more information please review the useful video guide to on-line registration.

Once you’ve fully registered you will see your “Certificate of Registration” under the personal details tab of your SOLE page and you should receive an email to confirm. You’ll be able to access your course details and all University resources.

You must be a fully registered student to have access to all the student online platforms. Blackboard can be accessed 48 hours after completing the online registration. Your live timetable will show on your Sole page 5 working days after registration and module selection. There are a small number of courses where the timetable is available via the blackboard page, please check with your course team which option your course follows.

Registering for the course is different to selecting your modules, you will still need to register even if you have made your module selections.
