Support for post-graduate research students
Postgraduate and MPhil/PhD Students
Our Disability and Dyslexia Service supports postgraduate and MPhil/PhD students in arranging reasonable adjustments for their studies.
To discuss the range of support available please book to speak with a disability adviser, ‘Meeting with a Disability Adviser’.
Support for MPhil/PhD research students will be different from that of a taught course. Please see the booklet ‘Guidelines for Research Degree Disabled Students’ produced by the Research School for more information.
Eligible postgraduate and research students can apply for additional funding for support through Disabled Students Allowance (DSA). Please see ‘Funding for support’. Please note postgraduate and research students need to complete the full DSA application form.
For further information on the evidence needed for support, study skills tips and setting up your support please see the relevant headings on the Disability and Dyslexia Service webpages.
