Craft and Cuppa Club
Join us every Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in The Hangar at the Students' Union for our Craft and Cuppa Club.
The Craft and Cuppa Club is a welcoming and relaxed space where you can get creative, connect with others, and boost your wellbeing. Dive into a variety of crafting activities, from simple paper crafts to cosy wool projects. We provide the basic materials, including wool, paper, and scissors, and you bring your imagination.
If you're working on something special, feel free to bring your own crafting projects and enjoy a dedicated space to focus. Have a craft you've always wanted to try? Suggest workshops or skills you'd like to see featured in future sessions. Are you part of an SU society? This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with us, host a themed crafting session, and introduce your society to a new audience.
Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee, some delicious biscuits, and the company of fellow students.
We believe in the power of creativity and community. Craft and Cuppa Club is a collaboration between the Students' Union and the Student Support and Wellbeing Team, designed to boost your wellbeing and foster social connections. Crafting has been proven to reduce stress, improve focus, and promote a sense of accomplishment. Taking time out to be creative is a wonderful way to look after your mental health. Meet new people, build friendships, and connect with a supportive community. Socialising is essential for wellbeing, and Craft and Cuppa provides the perfect opportunity to do just that. Take a break from your studies and enjoy a moment of calm and creativity.
To get involved, just drop by The Hangar on Wednesdays between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. No sign-up is required.
If you have a workshop idea or skill you'd like to share, talk to us at the event or contact the Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator by emailing r.melville@worc.ac.uk.
