Lynda.com is an Online learning platform owned by LinkedIn that is used to help staff learn business, software, technology and creative skills through guided videos and tutorials. It is a particularly useful tool for those staff who feel they would like to improve their skills in Microsoft applications, including, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. The Online training videos range from beginner and basic learning to advanced use of applications dependent on the training need.

Good Practice

Good Practice is a website that offers staff a wide range of resources to help develop their skills, including Leadership, Innovation, Time Management, Customer Service, Handling Information and Data. These topics are covered in videos, case studies, infographics, guides and top tips, dependent on which you find most useful. 

The 'Bookmark' tool is available to enable users to save resources they may wish to refer back to or to revisit commonly used resources. The 'Learning Log' tool is a way users can track how much time they have spent using the resources.
